Clad in a mixture of pine and concrete, the Apple Farm House blends into its mountainous setting. The home sits on an elevated plot facing south, allowing for extensive views of the neighboring mountains. Along with being a small refuge after retirement — consisting of just two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen — the house also serves as a farmhouse for the couple’s apple orchard. The oversized roof creates an outdoor workspace, providing protection from the sun and the rain. Located at the front of the house, this covered terrace allows for the surrounding scenery to be enjoyed while finishing their daily tasks.
